Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Working knowledge and experience working on, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems (pneumatics, gas engines, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, hydraulics, conveyors, auger/screw feed systems). Working knowledge and experience working on, troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems/circuits, power systems, test gauges, load cells, scales, AC/DC drives, electrical distribution (transformers, switch gears, substations), principles of electricity, electrical code. Must be skilled at PLCs, PLC interface, troubleshooting PLC logic, programming logic and HMI programming/troubleshooting. Must get work assignments and close assignments from SAP, report hours in SAP, and look up spare parts in SAP. Must be willing to train others on Preventive Maintenance tasks. Support 5-S and housekeeping of assigned areas and actively participate in TPM.

Education and/or Experience:
One year certificate from college or technical school with 2 years of working experience, or 5 years documented related experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to apply practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or scheduled form.
